Perfect size for little hands

I love the colors of these cups. The muted tones are just beautiful. The cups themselves are really nice. They are a perfect size for little hands. The way they are contoured, makes it super easy for them to hold. The silicone material is solid, but soft at the same time. Like it holds its shape, but it's not hard or rough in any way. It has give to it. It's a really great style of cup to teach your little little one how to drink out of a standard cup because traditional standard cups just don't fit their little hands like this does. Right now you can get this 3 pack for $13 but it also has a coupon which brings it to just over $11 and I think it either price point, it is a really good deal because these are some quality cups. Even once baby is older and you no longer need them for that purpose these are going to be nice to have and will still be useful.

Great for a baby's first cup.

Because of the shape, it's surprisingly easy to hold with their baby hands. It didn't take long for our child to learn how to drink from a cup for their very first time which is great. It's silicone as well, so no need to worry about it breaking or hurting the baby. The labeling on the inside showing how many ounces is also nice to let you know how much they are drinking. The color and design is also very cute.

Dishwasher safe, look nice

I like these as a simple option for introducing a baby to drinking from an open cup. The silicone has a nice amount of thickness to it, so the cups don't feel flimsy in my hands, and the smaller size makes sense for little hands and small amounts of liquid.I especially like the shape. They're easy to hold without having a large cup for a baby to try to manage, and the weighted bottom gives them a little more stability on the table. That said, I wouldn't consider them spill-proof or completely tip-proof. A determined baby can still knock one over, so I would use these for supervised practice rather than expecting them to prevent messes.I also appreciate that they're dishwasher safe. With something that's going to be used by a baby, being able to put it straight in the dishwasher makes a difference for me.

Great first cups for learning to drink independently

These are the first open training cups I’ve introduced to my son, so he is still figuring out how to use them. He has previously been drinking from straw cups, and I wasn’t expecting him to immediately know how to drink from an open cup without spilling. He did manage to take a few sips on his first try, although plenty of water ended up everywhere afterward! For a first attempt, though, I was really happy with how he did.The size and shape seem very well suited for little hands. My son grabbed the cup immediately and was able to hold it comfortably with both hands. He actually enjoyed handling and playing with the cups even when he wasn’t drinking from them, which I think will make practicing with them easier.I also really like the silicone material. It feels soft and pleasant to the touch while still having enough structure to hold its shape. The cups feel sturdy, and the rim also feels smooth and comfortable against his mouth. The three colors look just like the listing photos, and the size was exactly what I expected.Overall, I’m very happy with these as a first step toward drinking independently from a regular cup. There is definitely going to be a learning curve (and some spilled water!) when transitioning from straw cups, but that’s exactly what I wanted these for. It's a good value for the price.I’m glad we got them and would definitely recommend them for practicing open-cup drinking.

Good quality, a bit confused on the need they are fulfilling

So, first off, the cups are definitely made of good quality material. The silicone is very soft and absolutely is easy on a little ones mouth. They are small enough to keep whatever is in them from causing a huge mess when spilled, but large enough you aren't having to refill them every 30 seconds, which is great too! I also really like that they have a measurement amount inside the cup. That way if you are trying to limit (like juice), or just track (like water) certain liquids this cup is definitely a bonus. Where I get a bit confused is the overall purpose of the cup as they don't seem to quite be right for independent drinking, but don't really function any better than a normal cup parent led sipping. For example, the cups are definitely not tip proof, or honestly even tip resistant. Sure, the base is a bit heavier, but it still doesn't take much to knock it over, or tip it over. They are also not really "metered" to prevent the liquid from dumping all the way onto your little one, or the floor for that matter. They are tiny, and kid hand friendly as they state, but I'd have a tough time handing them off to my kiddo. Especially if they were still in the 4-12 month range these are listed for. They almost seem more like sip training that a parent would lead. I.e. the parent holds the cup and slowly tips the liquid for the child so they can practice sipping without a straw or spout. And in that case, these are OK! Not much better than my small cups I have here (I tried with both) but they are definitely a better material than the hard plastic. So that's good.Overall, I personally wouldn't get them again because I just can't find a niche that these fill that would justify paying for something special to use. Especially not when I found the pour to be same between these and the normal small plastic cups I have at home. Now, if they were really resistant to tipping, or made to be for older kids, the quality of the product is definitely good enough I might consider it. But not as is.That said, overall, the quality is good, and the product is nice and held up just fine in the dishwasher so I am sure they are a great buy for someone who is looking to fill this need.

Brilliant Design

Weighted Silicone Baby Training Cups. 3 pack of blue, green, beige soft non-slip on table or in little hands. Toddler friendly shape makes it easier to hold and feel secure. Product page says 4-12 months. In my opinion probably wait until baby can sit up on their own so 7-18 months. Our nearly two year old likes these little cups because he can handle them so much easier than an adult glass and they feel more "big boy" than a sippy cup with a lid. We aren't walking around with the lalalark cup though, it's strictly for at the table or in the high chair use. I love the shape of these for all the good reasons but they are kind of hard to clean inside. I just get a pan of hot soapy water and immerse them a good long time. These cups are dishwasher safe if you choose. Thoughtfully designed and made with safe food grade silicone. The material is very durable even if baby decides to teeth on the cups it's fine, they were made for that too. Marks inside the cups for measuring ounces if you need to. The cups I have are a 3oz starter size which I think is perfectly fine for babies even toddlers. Perfect thing to tuck into a gift basket for a new mom.

Well-made and a good size for little hands learning to transition to cups

This set of three child's sippy cups is excellent for helping a little one graduate from bottle to cup.The cups are small enough to be comfortable in little hands. They have a matte texture that makes for an easy grip. They stand up well. And of course, if they get dropped, they are not going to break.I also like that they are made of BPA-free food-grade silicone, for safe drinking. They also have lines on the inside for measuring how much liquid is being given/consumed.Also, once your child moves on to larger cups, these would be great for dolls and stuffies to use at Teddy Bear picnics. ;)For the price ($12.99 for 3 (so $4.33 per cup) as of the posting of this review), they are a good value.

Designed for infants to successfully drink from an open cup

These are adorable base-weighted silicone training cups for babies and toddlers. You get a set of 3, and instructions. These cups are really designed for infants from 4-12 months. I had no idea anyone offered a cup to such young babies to sip from the rim but these help that to be possible and successful. If that sounds like a good adventure and if you can tolerate some liquid-containment failures along the way, this might be for you. I don't think this is for everyone but I love itThis product is not spill proof or leak proof. It's not a straw cup or sippy. Your baby is going to spill liquid with this, but she's also likely to learn faster not to do that, versus using cups that are designed to be thrown by babies. This one is designed to sit on its base and be sipped from at the edge in a controlled way. Very cool.

Perfect for teething babies

,My 8 month old is constantly chewing on everything and this cup has been a lifesaver. The silicone is soft enough for her sore gums but sturdy enough that it doesn't collapse. She hasn't figured out how to actually drink from it yet but she loves holding it and gnawing on the rim. Easy to clean, no weird taste. Only wish it came in more colors.

returned it

The cup itself seems fine quality-wise but my baby just refused to use it. She prefers her bottle and would not touch this no matter what I tried. Probably a them problem not a cup problem. Returning and trying a different style.

leaks a little bit

The cup works fine for sitting at the table but if my daughter tilts it too fast it does leak. Not a huge deal since we mostly use it during meals anyway. The silicone is nice and soft, she hasnt bitten through it yet which is saying something. I just wish there was a version with a spout or valve for on-the-go use.

Solid product for babies!

Overall I really like this product. It's thoughtful, immediately from the packaging. The materials chosen are conscientiously chosen. I like the design, the squared base is delightful, and the organic shape of the cup is very nice and pleasing to handle. It's certainly not leak-proof or even really resistant, but it's a training cup for babies, it's gonna be messy sometimes, that's okay! It's a cute little size; for a baby, I suppose it's easy to use! It's designed smartly. Being able to throw them into the dishwasher is nice as well, without woryying about leaching BPA etc.

Lalalark open cups

I ordered these for my toddler, so she’s definitely older than the intended age range, but she absolutely loves them! The cup is sturdy, easy for her to handle, and simple to clean. I also really like the soft silicone material and weighted base. Even though we’re using them beyond the recommended age, they’ve been a fun addition to her mealtime routine!

The Ideal Cups For The “I Do It” Stage!

These lalalark Baby Open Silicone Training Cups, 3 Pack, are ideal! They are light enough to not be heavy, yet are substantial enough that this silicone is not ripping or tearing. When you want to try something beyond a sippy cup, this is what you want. The lip of the cup is thin enough that it is comfortable to drink from, and durable enough that when they try to chew on it (they are definitely going to want to chew on them!) you don't need to worry. They clean easily, and are very nicely packaged - this would be a great gift, and is a terrific value for the money, $9.99 at the time of this review. They are small, as expected, and are easy to hold for both adults and littles. That there are measuring lines inside is an added bonus, you can track how much they are drinking. The colors are pretty, and the shape is pretty as well as easy to hold and use.The are somewhat bottom heavy, but they will tilt over - you don't get to sing the "weebles wobble but they don't fall down song" - these will fall down! This set of 3 cups easily earns the 5 stars!

cute colors!

Got the pastel set and they are so adorable. My daughter picks her cup based on the color each morning which is hilarious. Functionally it works great, easy for her to hold and drink from. I have put it in the dishwasher probably 50 times by now and it still looks new. Really happy with this purchase.

Perfect Little Cups for Tiny Hands

These are the perfect size for a learning baby! My baby is one and these fit her little hands really well while still holding a good amount of liquid, so she can practice sipping without having a giant cup that she immediately dumps everywhere. I also love that they’re silicone because I don’t have to panic when she inevitably throws one across the room. They’re soft, lightweight, easy for her to grip, and super easy to clean. A regular kitchen sponge works perfectly, so there’s no need to break out a bottle brush or buy a special cleaner just for these. The three colors are cute too, and for a little one learning how to use an open cup, these have been a great size.

Ergonomic design is good for little hands and cuts down on spilling!

I ordered these for my toddler who loves to drink out of an open cup and is learning to hold them on her own. I have a different silicone cup that she likes to use but the mouth is wide and she spills so I thought the design of this might help. It definitely cuts back on spilling and is great for training. The shape dips in and prevents little hands from carelessly sloshing liquid around and they are really easy for little ones to hold onto. They have a very ergonomic shape. They are sturdy and stable but also soft so I feel comfortable with it against her little teeth. So far we haven't had any issues with the silicone holding onto odors which can sometimes be an issue and they are more glossy inside which I think helps with the odors and makes them easy to clean. The colors are cute as well. I am going to buy a pack of these for a baby shower gift as well since I'm putting together a feeding themed gift basket (everyone always buys clothing and blankets, get something useful that won't be covered!) because we have really liked using them. I highly recommend these, they're a great value for the price!

Hold just a few oz

The media could not be loaded.

These are great little training cups, but emphasis on little. They are tiny and only hold a few ounces, so I would definitely recommend them for younger babies rather than older toddlers. I think they’re a particularly good size for around a 6-month-old who is learning to use an open cup.The silicone is thick and feels like good quality, and I like that the base is heavier and more substantial. They are also easy to clean.I would buy these again. Just be aware of the small size before ordering.

lalalark Baby Open Cups, Silicone Training Cups, 3-Pack, Blue/Green/Beige | The spoutless baby open

I picked up this 3-pack of silicone training cups for my toddler, and overall, they have been a fantastic addition to our daily routine. The softness of the silicone is gentle on sensitive gums, and the weight at the bottom gives them great stability on the high tray. The appearance of these soft pastel blue, green, and beige colors is very pleasing, and they look great sitting on the kitchen counter. In terms of quality, the thick material feels sturdy and reliable. They have held up remarkably well to being dropped, tossed, and chewed on, showing impressive durability after countless trips through the dishwasher. They also feature great versatility, as we use them for water, milk, and even small snacks like blueberries or puffs. Packaging and presentation make them a solid choice for gift ability if you are looking for something practical for a baby shower or a friend with a young toddler. My only minor issue is that they are slightly on the smaller side than I originally anticipated, requiring frequent refills throughout the day. These are the perfect size for a small child, but too small for an adult. They resemble shot glasses.

finally a cup he wont throw lol

ok so my 13 month old has thrown every cup we bought off the high chair. this one is light enough that he can hold it but the silicone is kind of squishy so when it hits the floor its not a huge disaster. he actually drinks from it which is the main thing. been using it for 3 weeks now, no cracks, no weird smell. good enough for me.

lalalark Baby Open Cups, Silicone Training Cups, 3-Pack,

I got these cups for my grandson, who is just starting to use cups on his own, and they have been a wonderful addition to his mealtime routine. The size is perfect for little hands, making them easy for him to hold and practice independent drinking. One feature I really appreciate is the square-shaped base. Combined with the weighted bottom, it helps keep the cups more stable and reduces tipping compared to many other training cups we've tried. There are also measurement markings on the inside, which is helpful for parents or caregivers who want to keep track of how much their little one is drinking throughout the day.The silicone material is very smooth and shiny on the inside, making the cups easy to clean and rinse out. The exterior has a softer matte texture that provides a better grip for small hands. The only minor drawback I noticed is that the matte finish tends to attract lint and fibers a bit more easily. It's definitely not a dealbreaker, but it's something worth mentioning. Overall, I'm very glad I chose these cups for my grandson. He has done remarkably well with them, and I feel comfortable setting them down and letting him practice on his own without worrying about a huge mess. He's learned a lot since receiving these, and they've been a great tool for building his confidence with independent drinking.
