These magnetic baby proof locks work great! Installation was quick and easy, and they hold securely.Something to note is that they might not latch on all types of cabinets. This is something you will need to see if it works for the kinds of cabinets you have, but if they work they will work fantastic. You will receive a lot of locks in the package, enough to use in the bathroom and in the kitchen.I have several products from this brand, and they've all been high quality and reliable. These locks are no exception as they work exactly as expected. They are also easy for adults to open with the magnetic key and overall this has been a great product to have.

The locks have made my home significantly safer for my little one. The installation was w=easy and the adhesive is strong, didn't need any tools or drilling. The locks are completely hidden inside the cabinets, which keeps everything looking neat and uncluttered. The adhesive holds up well over time and doesn't come off easily, even with frequent use.

I really like these, but also not perfect in all situations. First of all, super discrete so they don’t ruin the aesthetic of your home which I love about these, but I don’t think they will hold as well as some cabinet lock styles, until you drill and secure with additional screws. The mounting jig helps, but also does consider how much clearance is needed if your door doesn’t completely lay flat on the surface of the cabinet so it still takes some careful installation. I also had drawers whose construction does not make it easy to fit or line things up and I had to print some extra spacer/support. Again, without screwing down, and no obvious visible lock someone (my wife) may just yank on the door causing the plastic door catch to go flying. Ok, that happened just once, and now we are trained. Another downside we needed to grab a “key” every time you want to grab something from a cabinet gets a little annoying but I suppose we are still acclimating to that part.So far, I child has not been able to yank open any doors and I have not screwed any of these in, so the adhesive seems to work pretty well. Of course I cleaned the surfaces first with alcohol. As he gets bigger and stronger I may need to go back and add screws.I didn’t have any issues with the magnet not being strong enough to unlock through any of our doors.

This kit is HUUUUUGE. I use Safety first for drawer locks, not anymore. I can’t explain how excited I am to find a kit this large in quantity with the same quality. Safety first only gives you 6 locks I believe for $40 dollars. That’s insane. This is installed exactly like Safety first. We have to lock everything. My 20 month old is very curious and doesn’t leave anything alone. Only caveat is the lock magnetic tool is quite small. So if you want large magnetic tools for unlocking this isn’t for you.

With adhesive strips already in place and a simple installation cradle, you can quickly protect 24 doors and drawers from curious hands. A simple video shows how easy it is to install, and 4 magnetic "keys" are included to unlock just by getting next to the lock. The locks are mostly plastic, but strong enough to prevent youngsters from opening. When they leave, the locks can unlocked until they next time they visit. Perfect!It's an elegant design that is well though out. If you want stronger protection, you can install the locks with screws, but for our use, the adhesive strips are sufficient (note that the adhesive strips are not designed to be reused). The cradle is key to simple design. You attach two parts to the cradle, remove the strips, install in unlocked mode, then open and remove the cradle.Stickers are included to show where to touch the magnetic, but these aren't required if you have a good memory. The magnet is powerful enough to unlock through normal wood cabinets (see the video).Overall, this is a great value that is well worth the safety it provides.

These magnetic cabinet locks have solved a lot of the usual problems with cabinet locks - the biggest being the mechanism being visible on the outside of the cabinet or drawer and destroying the look of your room. These locks are all hidden inside your cabinet or drawer and you use a strong magnet to unlock it. The biggest problem you have is where to safely store the magnet.They also have several tools to help you get good installation. One is a positioning sticker with a ruler so you need no tools of your own. Another is a cradle that cradles both parts of the locking mechanism so that they will be sure to lock when you install them. One of the pictures I posted shows the two elements in this cradle. They’re installed with 3M adhesive so you don’t need to use any screws. They have an installation video on YouTube, which helps a lot on learning how to install these.I like that when the grandkids have gone home, I can put the lock into the unlocked position. When it’s just my husband and I we don’t have to still keep using the magnet to unlock the various cabinets and drawers.When my grandkids are over, I am always with them, but it only takes a minute distraction and they could be getting into something that would be harmful to them. I want to make sure that never happens and these are a step in the right direction.

Im a big fan of this brand and these locks especially! This company does a great job of simple brilliance with its products. As a homeowner and now parent its hard to coop with the loss of your homes aesthetic that you have painstakingly crafted over many years to endless plastic toys, crazy colors and oatterns that match nothing in your home, and cumbersome safety products -- but not with this brand. Thankful. These locks are perfectly hidden. The magnet "keys" easily unlatch the little hinge flapper on the locking mechanism once they get about an inch and ahalf away from the corresponding magnets. Nothing visually to have to look at from the exterior, all the mechanical components of functionality remain on the interior of whatever cabinet door or drawer you install these on. The set comes with 4 of the keys and even if you were to lose all of them somehow you could always yank a strong magnet off your fridge and make do with that as well. Shamefully i have always struggled with 'childsafe' lids and the sort so these cabinet locks that require no strength, no awkward squeezing or pinching etc are great. A majorly beneficial gift to give a new parent for when kids start crawling, nothing scarier than a kid getting into the area under the sink where all the chemical cleaning supplies are kept or heaven forbid the knife drawer or pulling a heavy drawer out and onto themselves and really injuring themselves. It can happen faster than you can blink, those shifty little cuties! I think this set is a great value for how many cabinet locks it comes with and how easy they are for daily use.

Very disappointed. 1/2 of these didn’t work. They kept falling off or wouldn’t latch. 1 fell off the cabinet when my toddler opened it and now it is stuck to my floor. I have balance issues soNeed to wait so I could get someone to help me.

I thought these would be amazing but they are constantly turning off and coming off of my cabinets. I wanted them to work so bad but at this point I wasted my money.

The hook shifts really easy; those won’t last a full year. The baby will figure out how to jiggle and open. Magnet is nice.

I do not normally write reviews, but these blew me away. The cabinet locks are BY FAR the easiest to install compared to any other child locks. They work flawlessly. The magnets are strong and work through very thick cabinet doors. They are also a very reasonable price for how many you get.

Poor latching system. Half of the pieces didn’t lift high enough to actually hook into place. The height adjustment feature was not strong enough to stay in place.

These are great to have when you have kids that get into your cabinets and get into stuff they shouldn't be in. They're also great for baby proofing cabinets. They're not too difficult to install. They come with step by step instructions. They don't look bad at all on the cabinets. They're the perfect size for what they do. They're good quality and they function as they should. They're worth the money.

Easy to install with supplied materials. No little fingers can access drawers or cabinets. Keys are reachable by adults. Highly recommend and it's a great baby shower gift.

really nice set of magnetic cabinet locks, comes with plenty so you can cover a lot around the house which I liked. the fact that it includes four keys is a big plus since most sets only give you two. installation was easy with the adhesive and everything lined up well, no issues getting them set up. they’ve been holding up and working reliably so far, the magnet triggers consistently and I haven’t had any problems opening them. I did end up adding screws for extra security since my toddler is getting stronger, but even without that they worked fine. overall they look clean once installed and do exactly what they’re supposed to do, I’ve been really happy with them
